To open skies and far horizons. Art Director: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. Visual Development: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
I'm a veteran Art Director, Visual Development Artist, and former/future #indiedev. In 2018 I rediscovered my love of painting on a road trip through some of America’s most breathtaking National Parks. I left a job and team I also loved (directing games at Seattle studio Harebrained Schemes) to focus on art—eventually moving to Los Angeles in 2020. Since then I’ve art-directed an animated film adaptation of the bestselling book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse, painted backgrounds for Disney’s Ghost and Molly McGee, and been a visual development artist for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at Sony and Blue Eye Samurai at Netflix. In my spare time I head for the nearest open sky to hike, paint, and practice photography.
